Data Operations Manager (m/f/d)
We are the world market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food and are constantly optimizing our products.
We help make the food supply cycle for the population more sustainable. With our RPCs, safety for food transport is improved, there is less waste of food and at the same time the lifespan of the products increases.

Key responsibilities :
- Drive adoption for across all Data Platform services, projects, and products through onboarding and enablement of projects developing on the Data Platform.
- Maintain processes for Business-as-Usual mode following ITIL best practices.
- Own the incident and support processes of the data platform and support the resolution of incidents.
- Demand Management : Technical requirement engineering working closely with stakeholders and collaborating with partners towards implementation and 3rd level support.
- Manage release process for data-related projects and initiatives, including coordinating with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize release schedules, managing the deployment of code and data changes, and tracking and reporting on the status of releases.
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of a data platform architecture and infrastructure that enables data-driven decision making in close collaboration with cloud architects.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize the performance and functionality of data platform services.
- Ensure the integrity, security, scalability, and cost efficiency of the data platform.
We expect :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to engineering, computer science, or data science.
- Experience with cloud data management tools and platforms (e.g., Azure data lakes, data warehouses, master data management systems) is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of data platforms, data pipelines, data warehouse solutions.
- Experience in the implementation of DataOps / DevOps and Agile practices in IT organizations and a good instructor in ITIL.
- Skilled in the management and use of tools and technologies for data management and automation, including pipelines and notebooks, SQL, ETL tools, BI tools and ML(Ops) tools such as : Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Power BI.
- Language skills : Fluent in German and English; other Languages are nice to have.
