We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (f / m / d) to join our E.ON Energy Markets GmbH team. Our preferred start date will be as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• You lead the technical delivery of programs and projects for our Energy Markets function
• You incubate and scale new solutions hands on’ from proof-of-concept stage to production
• You actively support the development and scaling of our Energy Markets products
• You assess new technologies for cost and value optimization together with our business
• You communicate, network and build communities around technologies and business use cases within and outside of our Energy Markets function

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, data science / engineering, economics, or comparable education
• Several years of work experience as project or program lead
• Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, very good organizational skills
• Experience in an energy trading with good knowledge of wholesale energy markets, portfolio management or mathematical modelling are a plus
• Advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, R, or similar), knowledge of the Azure cloud ecosystem, and deep knowledge of Machine Learning methods are a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English, good command of another European language is a plus
• Integrative personality with willingness to establish and develop close relationships to others in and outside the own unit
