Principal Solutions Advisor
Blue Yonder is a leading supply chain software company that is seeking a highly experienced Principal Solutions Advisor to join our Sales team.
The Principal Solutions Advisor will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to clients during the sales process, while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain solutions and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Scope
- Make recommendations on whether to qualify in or out of an opportunity to the VP / CVP Pre-Sales.
- Educates prospect and creates a compelling business case for Blue Yonder Solutions by showing prospect how to take their business to the next level.
- Engage with executives and individual contributors at prospect companies to understand industry and company specific business processes and business objectives.
Map the customer issues to specific solution enablers and develop a solution recommendation to address the business issues and meet business objectives.
Clearly articulate the business impact of to-be recommendations.
- Conduct site surveys, interviews and research BY Industry & Solution knowledge base, public domain or other sources to develop a hypothesis on customers key business issues.
- Develop a roadmap for deployment of the recommended solution. Develop and maintain BY Solutions expertise. Possess and maintain competitor strengths / weaknesses and strong understanding of industry trends and supply chain management trends.
- Present a clear, concise and compelling argument to differentiate BY offerings with proof points including software demonstrations.
Quantify the business impacts of issues and develop a value proposition for the recommended solution and deployment roadmap.
- Deep knowledge of all solutions in domain
- Good knowledge of solutions outside domain
- Able to articulate the value of end to end
- Coaching and training
- Influence Product development
- Lead end to end solution architecture
- Lead complex sales
- Subject Matter Expert support on other sales where not the lead
- Helps drive opportunities to close (date and value)
- Fluent in English and one other European Language
