Your Role
Our team makes solutions possible. We analyze the requirements of the business and functional units, develop an infrastructure concept in close cooperation with the infrastructure architects and other specialists, and ensure implementation.
Based on defined standards, we try to achieve efficient and quick implementation. Our cloud-first strategy with AWS or our private cloud forms the basis for many of our projects.
We bring together the various supply areas and manage the entire implementation process. Project planning and close communication between the customer and the supply units ensure broad networking within global IT and with our internal customers (business and functional units).
Your Responsibilities
- Analyzing requirements for IT infrastructure solutions and planning their implementation in coordination with our internal customers;
- Management of international IT infrastructure projects, including communication with stakeholders at all levels. (incl. C-level if required);
- Migration of small and large infrastructure landscapes, also in connection with data center relocations or migration to the cloud (AWS);
- Integration of IT infrastructures of subsidiaries (worldwide) into the KN standard world;
- Implementation of complex changes concerning servers, databases, networks, and storage, including license and contract management.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in computer science / business informatics, comparable professional training, or corresponding professional experience;
- Experience in project management based on methodological principles (e.g., Prince II, PMI, Agile);
- Experience with technical components of modern IT infrastructure landscapes and operational experience in handling change requests to core IT infrastructure components;
- Experience with IT infrastructure in the public and private cloud;
- Knowledge of license and contract management;
- Strong communication and presentation skills, along with moderation experience;
- Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken).
