What do you contribute?
Our central legal department, comprising nearly 200 professionals, provides comprehensive legal support to all business units involved in creating innovative mobility solutions.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on high-profile projects, overseeing the legal aspects of business operations and ensuring effective risk management.
- Lead a team of twelve lawyers and contract managers, reporting directly to the General Counsel of Siemens Mobility.
- Take responsibility for the legal support of business unit projects and legal proceedings.
- Oversee and coordinate all legal matters across different business units and national subsidiaries, ensuring alignment within the matrix organization.
- Implement legal standards and ensure relevant training within the business unit.
- Collaborate closely with other business units and national subsidiaries to drive cohesive legal strategies.
- Provide guidance to the management team on legal and risk-related issues to support informed decision-making.
What do you bring along?
- You are a fully qualified lawyer with an excellent academic background and more than seven years of experience in the legal department of an international company handling large infrastructure projects.
- You inspire, motivate, and lead a team of highly skilled legal professionals with empathy and decisiveness.
- Furthermore, you have strong communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all management levels.
- You possess solid business acumen, particularly in risk assessment, contract negotiations, and claim management.
- Additionally, you have a passion for working on international topics, and ideally, you have experience in the Middle East or Africa region.
- You have excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
