Senior Audio Software Engineer (m / f / d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Audio Software Engineer for our Munich office , for the development of our passenger information system audio solutions for rail vehicles (e.

g. trams, high speed trains, underground, etc.).

Your role :

• Conception and development of innovative audio software solutions for embedded devices in the railway sector, under Linux
• Technical coordination of the audio device software development team
• Technical identification, analysis and implementation of customer requirements
• Accompanying the complete device development from the offer phase, through definition and development, to the production of the devices
• Interface to the BSP and hardware developers and other stakeholders

Your profile :

• University degree in computer science / electrical engineering / physics / mathematics / etc.
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
• Sound knowledge of programming in C++ (min. C++14), ideally under Linux
• Sound knowledge of IP networks and the RTP protocol family, as well as good knowledge of IP PBX (Asterisk, VoIP, G.711, SIP)
• Ideally knowledge of AVB or AES67 real-time audio streaming, time-sensitive networking, the PTP protocol or the SMPTE 2110 standard
• Ideally experience in using digital filters and working with GStreamer, FFmpeg and other audio / video streaming frameworks
