Your new role
As our new Senior Project Manager , you'll join a dynamic and high performing team overseeing diverse global projects, ranging from traditional infrastructure to green initiatives with a growing portfolio of Hydrogen, PtX, Biomass, e-Fuels and more.
Your role will assist in managing the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept to detailed design and on-site supervision.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be :
- Leading and managing projects and project-teams related to the energy transition, primarily in Germany, including the development of renewable energy sources, construction of hydrogen production facilities, new alternative energy generation plants and energy storage solutions.
- Develop and implement project management processes tailored to the unique challenges of major energy transition projects,
- Take ownership and responsibility of project-level planning, execution, and delivery within the Power-to-X (Hydrogen), Bioenergy, Offshore Energy (Offshore Substations) or Energy Intensive Industries sectors.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational goals.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for major projects, including project plans, schedules, and budgets, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing risks and challenges specific to the energy transition landscape for major initiatives.
- Foster strategic relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance project outcomes and promote sustainable practices in major projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements for major projects.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on advancing our position in the energy transition market, particularly in the specified sectors.

For this role, we believe your starting point is :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record (10+ years) in successfully managing large and complex projects within the energy transition or renewable energy sector
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of energy transition technologies, policies, and market trends.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, with a keen eye for incorporating sustainable practices.
- Experience in navigating regulatory frameworks and fostering partnerships in the energy transition landscape.
- Good German and English language skills
- Demonstrated experience within at least one of the specified markets : Power-to-X (Hydrogen), Bioenergy, Offshore Energy (Offshore Substations) or Energy Intensive Industries.
