They offer location-based services , helping users find and publish advertising offers and campaigns that can be used free of charge via their iOS, Android and Web apps.
Currently, they’re looking to hire a Senior / Associate Database Administrator to join their team!
You can be located in either Germany or Austria & you can work 100% remote if you prefer!
What would be your key responsibilities?
Basically, as their new DBA, you’ll manage the heart of their core product.
In particular :
- You’ll manage MySQL 5.7 and MariaDB (MaxScale) databases for high performance and security.
- You’ll troubleshoot and optimize database performance .
- You’ll implement security policies and manage Azure PaaS databases .
- You’ll conduct capacity planning and ensure data integrity .
- You’ll document database configurations and procedures .
What are they looking for in this role?
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator .
- Expertise in MySQL and MariaDB (MaxScale) database administration.
- Strong skills in database performance tuning, optimization and security .
- Familiarity with Azure PaaS management is beneficial.
- Proficiency in SQL query optimization and troubleshooting.
- NET and infrastructure skills would be considered as an advantage.
- Great work ethic and organization, primarily in a remote setting .
