Your day-to-day

Would you like to identify business opportunities at an early stage, acquire new customers and actively shape digital sales processes? As a Digital Sales Business Development Representative (m/f/d), you will play a key role in generating and qualifying leads, from initial contact through to a structured handover to the sales team. In this varied, cross-functional role, you will combine a strong customer focus with a data-driven approach. You will respond to incoming enquiries, proactively engage potential customers and collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Business Intelligence and other functions to sustainably grow our sales pipeline. You will use digital and AI-powered tools to evaluate market and customer signals, effectively prioritise leads and efficiently prepare sales activities. In doing so, you will directly contribute to acquiring new customers and reactivating existing business opportunities.

Identify and qualify new customers and business opportunities to build a sustainable sales pipeline.
Engage potential customers, analyse their requirements and guide them from initial contact through to the handover to the sales team.
Develop existing customer relationships and reactivate promising contacts and opportunities.
Maintain and document all relevant sales activities in the CRM system while ensuring high data quality.
Analyse market, customer and sales data to identify new opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
Use digital tools and AI-powered solutions to increase the efficiency of sales processes and continuously improve them.

Your skills and experience

Experience in B2B sales, business development or customer service, combined with a good understanding of sales processes, customer needs and pipeline management.
Confidence in using CRM systems, digital sales tools and data-driven approaches to identify business opportunities.
A strong interest in digitalisation, AI and automation, as well as the motivation to continuously improve processes and ways of working.
A customer-focused, proactive and confident communicator with an analytical mindset, a strong sense of ownership, team spirit and a willingness to learn.
