Merchandising Operations Manager

C&A is seeking an experienced, data driven, and highly customer focused Range Operations Manager to join the Merchandising team to support our Fit for Future (F4F) Program.
The mission of the F4F program is to modernize C&A’s processes and technology to enable truly European omni-channel ways of working. Our vision is for C&A to have a more efficient, resilient, and data-driven omni-channel business that allows C&A to scale and offer great availability of products and value for money for customers.
The Range Operations Manager is an expert in assortment building. The role contributes to the development, implementation and maintenance of processes, tools, methods and competence to enable operational excellence in the business to perform and deliver towards strategies and goals in an efficient and effective way. As a Functional Lead for Range Operations, the role is 100% dedicated to the Fit for Future Programme and works to ensure the integration of the transformation across departments, and that the system(s) meets the needs of their respective business / functional teams.
The Range Operations Manager will play a key role in the success of the largest digital transformation in the history of C&A!
Your responsibilities
- Act as Functional Lead for Range Operations. Ensure the program is aligned with the business needs. Consider end-to-end processes (between functions). Lead SMEs for function / business area, manage projects, ensure alignment with business goals.
- Provide input for business requirements / to be processes. Sign off on to-be processes for function / business. Contribute to / review key design decisions. Review & sign off on UAT scenarios for completeness. Coordinate UAT participants and ensure SMEs complete UAT. Complete Integration testing, enlisting help of SMEs if needed.
- Champion and implement the change within their teams. Ensure training and communication for their teams takes place. Ensure the successful adoption of the product and processes in scope across their function. Ensure legacy solutions / processes are no longer used.
- Lead competence development withing area of expertise in dedicated topics. Identify and drive best practice to achieve operational excellence.
- Secure that developed working methods and learning materials are tested, approved, implemented, adopted, kept up to date and accessible.
- Follow-up and ensure that working methods and tools are quick, lean, effective and efficient to use.
- Contribute to the development plans for tools connected to specific roles and contribute to identifying needs for development of common ways of working, tools and competence across relevant areas.
