Head of People & Culture (m/w/d)
We are looking for you to join our client, 1SP Agency :
As Head of People and Culture , you will play a pivotal role in leading and driving the people strategy for the entire 1SP Agency.
1SP is a Buy & Build organization which is constantly growing and the wide range of entities in different levels of maturity adds additional complexity to this strategic role.
The organization with it’s currently 6 entities (MSM.digital, FLZR (former Profiflitzer), INSIGHT, Studio CO2, Renaissance PR, 1SP Agency Holding) has locations across Europe (Hamburg, Lübeck, Berlin, Stockholm, Farnham (UK), Warwick (UK) Augsburg and Mallorca).
In this dynamic and influential role, you will have the opportunity to shape and transform our People & Culture Team in support of our strategic objectives.
You will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise to all areas of the People function, ensuring the development and implementation of best practices.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, a deep understanding of people strategies and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a People Strategy that aligns with and supports the company's overall objectives, while allowing local differences.
- Oversee the recruitment process to ensure the acquisition of top talent that aligns with the organization’s culture and values.
- Leading the performance management program , including advising and coaching managers on effective performance appraisal techniques.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Oversee all employee relations matters and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Monitor compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are fair, competitive, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Ensure a positive work culture that promotes diversity and inclusion by driving initiatives to increase employee engagement.
- Ensuring the integration of new entities by supporting human capital integration within the M&A process.
- Manage various cultures within the different entities of the 1SP Group.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 7-10 years of proven experience in a People and Culture Leadership role or a similar leadership role in a mid-sized organization, preferably in an agency environment.
- Excellent written and verbal language skills in German and English .
- In-depth knowledge of People best practices, policies, and procedures . Ability to use data and analytics to support People strategies and decision making.
- Strong leadership (soft) skills , with the ability to effectively motivate and develop a high performing people function.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills , with the capability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
- A thorough understanding of the obligation to comply with laws and regulations .
- Strong business understanding and ability to provide strategic guidance to senior management.
- A proven ability to deal with complex employee relations and to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Intercultural adaptability to deal with the differences in regards to the width of the entities.
- Experience in leading organizational change initiatives , transition management and managing through ambiguity (Acquisition of new agencies and mergers of existing organizations).
