We are looking for a Site Manager who will lead and coordinate the construction activities at our local construction sites in Germany.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc degree in construction management, electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field,
- 5 Years of similar experiences,
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English,
- Proven working experience in construction management,
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods,
- Understanding all facets of the construction process,
- Familiarity with construction management software package,
- Ability to plan and see the big picture ,
- Competent in conflict and crisis management,
- Leadership and human resources management skill,
- Excellent time and project management skills,
- Ability to live in remote and harsh environments.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversee and direct Solar projects from conception to completion
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Select tools, materials, and equipment, and track inventory
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress daily
- Prepare internal and external reports about job status
- Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Developing the program of work and strategy for making the project happen
- Planning to prevent problems on site before they occur, for example, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials
- Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety, and the environment (HSE) are adhered to
- Using construction management software packages to plan smooth workflows
- Communicating with a range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public, and the workforce.
