Site Supervisor

We are looking for a Site Manager who will lead and coordinate the construction activities at our local construction sites in Germany.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc degree in construction management, electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field,
• 5 Years of similar experiences,
• Fluent in spoken and written German and English,
• Proven working experience in construction management,
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods,
• Understanding all facets of the construction process,
• Familiarity with construction management software package,
• Ability to plan and see the big picture ,
• Competent in conflict and crisis management,
• Leadership and human resources management skill,
• Excellent time and project management skills,
• Ability to live in remote and harsh environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee and direct Solar projects from conception to completion
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Select tools, materials, and equipment, and track inventory
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress daily
• Prepare internal and external reports about job status
• Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
• Developing the program of work and strategy for making the project happen
• Planning to prevent problems on site before they occur, for example, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials
• Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety, and the environment (HSE) are adhered to
• Using construction management software packages to plan smooth workflows
• Communicating with a range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public, and the workforce.
