Site Reliability Engineer (openSearch / elastic search)

Our Clients goal is to create secure and sustainable markets. As a Senior DevOps Engineer (f / m / d), you will play a key role in this mission.
You’ll join the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to enhance our observability tools and infrastructure.
Your work will involve implementing and optimizing development and release processes to meet stringent security requirements, safeguarding against cyber threats.
Additionally, you’ll support our development teams in maximizing the potential of our target platforms, including OpenShift, Public Cloud (GCP), and Linux.
You'll also contribute to setting the roadmap for our public cloud migration and technology strategy, helping to advance our IT DevOps chain.

Key Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and manage OpenSearch (formerly Amazon Elasticsearch) clusters on OpenShift within GKE.
- Configure and maintain Grafana dashboards for real-time monitoring and visualization.
- Implement Prometheus to collect and alert on application and infrastructure metrics.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot observability, performance, and scalability issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in observability and monitoring.
- Foster a culture of idea exchange, mutual support, and continuous improvement what we call the "exchange mindset."
Your Qualifications :
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing OpenSearch clusters.
- Strong expertise in creating and customizing Grafana dashboards.
- In-depth knowledge of Prometheus, including configuration, alerting rules, and query language.
- Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Git workflows, GKE, Public Cloud (preferably GCP), and Linux.
- Problem-solving mindset with a collaborative team spirit.
- Ability to provide guidance to colleagues and management.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
