An exciting global organisation who are rapidly expanding their European renewables operation are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager / Director to join the team.
As the Key Account Director / Manager you will establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, playing a crucial role in driving business growth by maximizing customer satisfaction and ensuring the successful implementation of renewable energy solutions.
You will have a very strategic mindset along with a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry within the DACH market.
Key responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in collaboration with the sales team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the business
Essential skills and experience
- Extensive experience as a high value Account Manager within the renewable space
- In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including BESS, Solar, Wind, and other emerging technologies
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, along with excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, fluent in German as well as strong English
- Ability to understand technical aspects of renewable energy solutions and effectively communicate them to clients
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to travel as required
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, MBA is a plus
