Blockchain Social Media Manager / Content Creator

Position Overview : Chainflip is seeking a degenerate sh*tposter and memelord to join our marketing team and bring an edge to our social media presence.

This role focuses on enhancing our visibility, engagement, and interaction across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain technology, particularly within the Interoperability and DeFi sectors, and will be adept at creating and curating content that resonates with the Crypto X audience.

What do we do

Chainflip is revolutionizing the way users swap native assets across different blockchains. Our cutting-edge swapping protocol offers seamless cross-chain transactions with unbeatable pricing.

We aim to be the largest on-chain market for BTC, ETH, SOL and other major cross-chain routes, and have processed over $300M in trades in our first months of launch.

We're not yet another bridge. Our protocol design removes the need for wrapped tokens through MPC (Multi-Party-Computation), and in particular, TSS (Threshold Signature Schemes).

This technology enables the creation of aggregate keys held by a permissionless network of 150 Validators. These validators manage simple smart contracts / wallets, known as Vaults, across multiple blockchains simultaneously.

On top of that, we developed our own substrate-based application-specific blockchain the Chainflip State Chain to track balances, process events, and execute instructions.

The end result? Fast, efficient, and ultra-competitive swaps. We’re taking on the CEXes for BTC volume!

This is an exciting challenge that we’ve been working on for 4 years now with our growing team of 30. While our heart beats in Berlin, we champion flexible work rhythms, encouraging both in-office collaboration and the freedom of remote stints.

Key Responsibilities :

Social Media Skills :

• Develop and implement strategies with the current team to enhance visibility and interaction on platforms such as X, Telegram, and Discord.
• Conduct social media campaigns from start to finish. Create and curate engaging content, manage posts, and analyse data to optimise reach engagement and retention.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure a consistent cadence across production timelines.
• Work with communications and campaigns teams to execute multi-channel announcements.

Content Creation :

• Craft experimental and engaging content tailored to Crypto Twitter's audience (memes, narratives, etc.).
• Produce a variety of content formats, including blog posts, articles, newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Develop content that appeals to Crypto Twitter while maintaining the overall protocol branding.

Who Should Apply?

This is the role for you if :

You're based in Europe and open to calling Berlin your new home, though we will also consider exceptional remote candidates.

You boast proven experience in a similar role.

You consider yourself a deeply integrated Web3 native, and an active participant in the culture of the industry.

You're capable of managing and optimising social media performance.

You can independently research, produce, and publish high-quality content that resonates with native Web3 users. Graphic design skills are a plus.

Beyond your individual capabilities, your communication and collaboration skills will allow you to contribute extensively in brainstorming, ideation, and feedback activities on a daily basis.

You can understand the importance of product fundamentals and can rapidly adjust messaging to changing market conditions, new opportunities, and new developments.
