We are looking for you! We offer a full-time position (40h / week) as a Senior QA Engineer (m / f / d) in one of our locations in either Heidelberg, Berlin, Leipzig or Munich.

The offer includes the option of working several days per week in the mobile office .

Your Mission

• Lead both manual and automation testing efforts, with a strong focus on automation;
• Create reusable test components, including plans, cases, data, schedules, and scripts;
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, providing execution support to various teams;
• Analyze, document, and communicate test results effectively;
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand and test functional and non-functional specifications;
• Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making;
• Demonstrate leadership qualities by mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation;
• Participate actively in team-building activities and support conflict moderation and resolution;
• Engage in people development activities, including professional growth, training, and performance reviews.

Your essential experience and education

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (computer science, engineering, sciences or a comparable qualification);
• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance, particularly with web applications;
• Proven ability to lead and enhance test automation processes;
• Experience with Selenium, CodeceptJS, or similar automation frameworks;
• Good understanding of Microservices architecture;
• Proficiency with Jenkins CI / CD or other CI / CD tools;
• Skilled in writing tests in JavaScript or TypeScript;
• Familiar with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban;
• Proven leadership potential, demonstrated through proactive problem-solving, effective collaboration, and a commitment to team success.
• Strong communication skills in English, with German as a plus;
• Experience with tools like ClickUp, Jira, and Confluence;
