Alpine Business Consulting is a specialized team dedicated to fixing enterprise performance management and reporting systems that have lost their way. Often, a company invests in complex planning tools only to find that the implementation cut corners, leaving finance teams to deal with numbers that do not match and month-end closes that take far too long. We step in to configure these systems properly or build new ones from the start. Our consultants have spent years working with Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and modern analytics stacks. They bring real-world experience to every project rather than using a client engagement as a training ground for junior staff.
Our partner is a leading European logistics firm that handles vast amounts of shipping and supply chain data across multiple borders. They rely on accurate, visible metrics to keep their operations moving. We are currently helping them clean up their internal reporting portals to ensure their finance and operations teams have a single source of truth they can trust every morning. This Junior Web Designer role is a full-time, permanent position created to support the design and usability of these internal systems.

The role
Working as a Junior Web Designer at Alpine Business Consulting means focusing on utility and clarity. You will be helping us build and maintain the web interfaces that corporate teams use to view their financial data. This is not about flashy consumer advertising: it is about making complex data accessible and easy to read for people making high-stakes decisions. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from your own space while collaborating with our senior consultants through digital channels. The pay for this role is competitive and attractive for the market and entry-level seniority.

What you will do
  • Coordinate with senior consultants to draft layouts for internal financial dashboards and reporting portals.
  • Focus on clean data presentation, ensuring that charts and tables are structured for maximum readability.
  • Help maintain a consistent visual style across the various portals used by the European logistics firm.
  • Produce clear documentation for all design assets to assist in the final handover to the client.
  • Translate technical data requirements into visual mockups using standard design software.
  • Assist in basic front end configuration to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from the finance teams who use these tools daily.
  • Ensure all internal web pages meet basic accessibility and usability standards.
What we need from you
  • A formal education or equivalent personal project experience in web design or graphic design.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to understand the constraints of web environments.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A preference for clean, minimalist aesthetics that prioritize function over decoration.
  • Small-scale experience building or designining websites, even if only for personal or academic projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to alignment, typography, and color consistency.
  • Ability to follow existing brand guidelines while suggesting practical improvements.
  • A professional approach to remote work, including clear communication and meeting scheduled milestones.
