At the University of Applied Sciences South Westphalia, the following position is available at short notice in Department 6 "IT Services" (IT Infrastructure Services) at the Hagen or Soest site :

IT system administrator (m / f / d)

with a focus on network administration / IT security

Tasks

• Responsible for the design and implementation of security measures in accordance with the BSI's IT baseline protection methodology
• Design and implementation of security measures / processes for maintaining and optimizing the IT security level
• Participation in system administration, in particular in the operational implementation of security measures
• Processing inquiries from the information security officer

Requirements

Knowledge of the relevant standards of the Federal Office for Information Security, in particular the IT baseline protection compendium, as well as knowledge of IT service management according to ITIL is an advantage.

Terms of contract

The full-time employment relationship is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L) and is permanent. The position is classified in pay group 13 TV-L. In principle, the position can also be filled on a part-time basis. The working hours and place of work can be flexibly arranged within the framework of an existing model.
